On the other hand, MI could also see the return on Deepak Chahar, who was down due to a hamstring issue. The report suggested that the pacer was seen with the support staff, and coach Mahela Jayawardene, undergoing some fitness drills. Yuzi Chahal was seen participating in fielding drills with the Punjab team.

It is important to note that both bowlers play an important role for their teams, irrespective of how their performance has been in the entire tournament. Deepak Chahar has picked up 11 wickets in 14 outings at an economy of 9.17. Chahal has picked up 14 in 12 matches.

Interestingly, in the only match both teams have played against each other in IPL 2025; PBKS won by 7 wickets with Josh Inglis scoring a brisk 73. Suryakumar Yadav had also scored a fifty in the May 26 match in Jaipur, but the effort went in vain.
