Yashasvi Jaiswal shattered numerous records with his double century on Day 2 of the IND vs ENG 2nd Test in Visakhapatnam on Saturday. Jaiswal achieved a unique feat as it was only the second instance when a player scored a double ton while no other batter in the team managed to score more than 34 runs.
He has now listed himself alongside a legend like Brian Lara, who was the only player to achieve this feat in 2005. Dwayne Bravo was the second-highest run-scorer in the match with 34 runs against Australia.
In the IND vs ENG 2nd Test, Jaiswal scored 209 runs, with Shubman Gill smashing 34 as the second-highest knock in the team.

Brain Lara 226 and Dwayne Bravo 34
In the first innings against Australia in Adelaide, Brian Lara scored 226 runs to guide West Indies to 405. Apart from Lara, no teammate was able to score a fifty. Bravo scored 34 to be the second-highest batter in that innings.
Yashasvi Jaiswal 209 and Shubman Gill 34
Jaiswal amassed 209 in the match, but apart from him, no one was able to score more than 34 runs. India posted 396 in the first innings with the help of Jaiswal’s knock.
