England might be dealt with a blow as batter Ollie Pope cast aspersions on Ben Stokes bowling in Rajkot. The England skipper was seen practicing bowling at the nets ahead of the IND vs ENG 3rd Test. However, Pope claims that he is unsure if Stokes would be bowling. He adds that the all-rounder is working to get his knee right.
Stokes to not bowl in IND vs ENG 3rd Test?
Pope further commends Stokes for his 100th Test milestone. Calling it an ‘unbelievable achievement’, the he notes that there have been many special moments since Stokes became skipper.
Stokes was seen bowling in nets at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in team’s first practice session post return from Abu Dhabi.
Earlier, England director of cricket Rob Key had said that Stokes, who went through a left knee surgery in November, will not bowl in the series.
