Team India will sport black armbands on Day 3 of IND vs ENG 3rd Test at Rajkot. The team will wear the armbands in memory of Dattajirao Gaekwad, former India captain and India’s oldest Test cricketer who passed away recently.

Gaekwad passed away at the age of 95 years in Baroda. Having made his debut in 1952, he ammassed 350 runs from 11 Tests for the national side. He was the longest living Indian cricketer.

Gaekwad amassed 5788 first-class runs from 110 matches, with a highest score of 249 not-out.
