Chennai Super Kings pacer breathed fire with a toe-crushing yorker to get rid of DC’s Tristian Stubbs. A 149.5 kmph yorker uprooted the stumps as the South African had no answer to the delivery. The Delhi Capitals’ batter was dismissed for 0 runs after facing just one delivery before his dismissal.

Two deliveries prior to Stubbs’s dismissal, Pathirana bowled a 150 kmph yorker to send Mitchell Marsh’s stumps flying.

Pathirana managed to get two wickets in the same over, getting rid of Stubbs and Mitchell Marsh. The pacer joined the CSK squad after their first game against RCB in the IPL 2024 opening game. Earlier in the game, Pathirana took a stellar catch to get rid of the dangerous David Warner.
