Former West Indies captain Carl Hooper broke down in tears after side’s thrilling 8-run win over Australia at the Gabba in Brisbane on Sunday.

After losing the opening Test, the visitors made a remarkable comeback to secure their first Test win down under since 1997.

Carl Hooper, who was part of the West Indies playing XI in their last Test win in Australia in 1997, broke down in tears after witnessing his side’s remarkable win.

Shamar Joseph was the star for West Indies in the second innings, as his 7-wicket haul with an injured toe rattled the hosts, who were bundled out for 207 in chase of 216.
