Uday Saharan and his team aim to uphold India’s strong tradition at the Under-19 World Cup as they strive for their sixth title. The India vs Australia U19 World Cup final match is currently underway, with Australia opting to bat first after winning the toss.
The Indian team exhibited dominance in the initial phases of the tournament, securing convincing victories against Bangladesh, Ireland, and the USA. Stellar performances from Saumy Pandey, Musheer Khan, and Naman Tiwari played a crucial role in these victories.

Speaking after the toss, Captain Uday Saharan expressed the significance of the World Cup and the team’s collective desire to lift the trophy. While Australia chose to bat first, Saharan mentioned that his team was prepared for bowling, although they would have preferred to bat first as well.
“We can play only one World Cup here so it means a lot to me and the guys with me, all of us want to lift the trophy” said Skipper Uday Saharan after the toss.
Saharan confirmed that there were no changes in the starting lineup for the game, opting to stick with the successful combination from the semifinals. However, he emphasized their intention to approach the game with a focus on batting and aiming to prolong their innings.
