The two remaining IND vs AFG T20I matches will be the last international games Team India will be playing before the T20 World Cup. While Indian cricket fans were expecting skipper Rohit Sharma and head coach Rahul Dravid to test the side before the T20 World Cup 2024, they were left disappointed with team’s traditional approach.
After winning the toss in first two games, Indian skipper Rohit opted to chase which has been India’s strength.
Netizens lashed out at skipper and head coach for not putting the team in testing situations to prepare for the T20 World Cup.

“This Afghanistan series gives a good picture of the vision Rohit and Dravid have. It’s to win a series, keep their jobs, nothing long term. Chose to bowl first again despite the fact that India have struggled to bat first in T20Is”, one user wrote on X.
“Playing for records only..they want rohit as captain in T20 world cup so no risk, no experiments”, another user posted.
Notably, Team India is currently leading the 3-match series 1-0.
