India’s star batter Virat Kohli landed in Indore on Saturday ahead of the IND vs AFG 2nd T20I, set to be played on January 14 at Holkar Stadium.
The 35-year-old was snapped outside the Indore airport as he made his way to the hotel, ready to join the rest of the squad.
Kohli missed the opening T20I in Mohali after he made himself unavailable due to personal reasons.
Notably, this will be Kohli’s first T20I game in 14 months. The 35-year-old last played a T20I match in November 2022.

With Kohli back in the squad, the management will either have to drop Shubman Gill or Tilak Varma to make way for the veteran in the Playing XI. India is currently leading the 3-match T20I series 1-0.
