Unmukt Chand off the crease, onto the mic: U19 WC winner joins BBL commentary box

Unmukt Chand has decided to branch out and become a cricket commentator. The Indian-turned-USA cricketer had incredible success in the early stages of his career and helped India lift the U19 World Cup in 2012. However, things did not pan out well for him, with consistent failures in domestic and franchise cricket.

Now, Unmukt Chand has decided to join the Big Bash League (BBL) as a Hindi commentator. Interestingly, Unmukt was also the first Indian to play in the league in 2022. However, his BBL career was a short one, which saw him play just two matches for the Melbourne Renegades.
