The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will try to win their maiden Indian Premier League (IPL) trophy tomorrow, June 3. Having failed to win an IPL Final on three previous occasions, RCB would be hoping that they get lucky the 4th time around at the Narendra Modi Stadium against Punjab Kings (PBKS).
But that’s going to be tough. Not only because Shreyas Iyer’s team is a formidable opponent but also because they might not be at full strength. RCB’s ace finisher, Tim David, suffered a hamstring injury against Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 23 and hasn’t played the last two matches. Which included the Qualifier 1 against PBKS on May 29.
Will Tim David play in the IPL 2025 Final?
This hasn’t hurt RCB, yet. They won both games. But Rajat Patidar will want his team to be at their best in the IPL 2025 Final. Not to forget that David has been one of the best finishers in the tournament this year. His absence might be felt. The question is, has David recovered?
Patidar was asked this important question. The RCB captain states that the medical team will inform them about David’s availability on the eve of the match. So for now, he and everyone else are in the dark. “Doctors are there. We will get to know this evening,” Patidar told reporters in Ahmedabad.
