Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been the talk of the town ever since they made their comeback to the T20I squad. With the duo set to feature in the IND vs AFG T20I series, Afghanistan coach Jonathan Trott talked about how his team is going to tackle the duo.
When asked about Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli’s inclusion in the T20 side, Trott raved about them being world-class players.
“Any side that India selects is strong. Add to it the likes of Rohit and Virat, and they have been world-class players for a while.“

However, the most interesting thing that Trott mentioned was their plan for the duo. The Afghanistan head coach mentioned that their bowlers have been watching Rohit and Kohli for a while and have devised plans for them.
“We are fortunate enough to have players who have played quite a lot of cricket against them in the IPL. The other guys have watched them on TV, so there will definitely be some plans for them. It’s about executing those plans and making sure that on the day we are ready to do that.“
