Sumit Nagal’s historic win at Australian Open: Fans thrilled with India tennis star

India tennis star Sumit Nagal created a new piece of history as he made his way into the second round of the Australian Open 2024. He beat 27-ranked Alexander Bublik in straight sets of 6-4. 6-2 and 7-6 to become the only second Indian to beat a seeded player in AO. The Indian fans were sent into a frenzy and Nagal made this fresh new record.

The fans took to Twitter to express their happiness, while former India cricketer Dinesh Karthik, was not in short of praise for the 26-year-old.
