Shubman Gill becomes 1st Indian captain to score double hundred in England

Some batters feel the pressure when made captain. However, only a few cheer (and not fear) the responsibility of leading their nation with a stamp of authority. Shubman Gill, so far, has shown that he belongs to the second lot. In only his second match as India’s Test captain, the ‘Prince of Indian cricket’ has smashed a stupendous double hundred at Edgbaston, Birmingham. In doing so, he has become not only the first Indian captain but also the first Asian captain to achieve the massive feat on English soil.
