India U19 young spinner Saumy Pandey scalped 18 wickets in the ongoing U19 World Cup. Thanks to his antics with the ball, Saumy Pandey also broke the record of Indian leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi for most wickets as an Indian bowler in U19 World Cup. Bishnoi scalped 17 wickets in the 2020 edition of the U19 World Cup.
Ravi Bishnoi had a terrific U19 World Cup 2020. India lost the finals narrowly against Bangladesh, but Bishnoi was one of the key players for the Men in Blue. He scalped 17 wickets during the U19 World Cup played in 2020. However, the Saumy Pandey has now scalped 18 wickets in the ongoing U19 World Cup.
