Salt takes SKY-isqe catch to help RCB draw first blood in IPL 2025 final

Phil Salt pulled off a Suryakumar Yadav to draw first blood against PBKS in their run-chase in IPL 2025 final. Opener Priyansh Arya was on absolute fire before Josh Hazlewood struck in the 5th over. RCB set a 192-run target for PBKS to chase as both sides aim to win their maiden IPL trophies.

Arya attempted to play a big shot off the last delivery of the 5th over. Salt, who was fielding near the boundary, managed to pull the ball back in to complete a catch, similar to how Suryakumar Yadav had done so for India in the T20 World Cup.
