The IPL 2025 season is set to recommence after a brief one-week suspension, with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) facing off against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Saturday, May 17, at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Following the initial announcement of the temporary halt, RCB had assured fans that ticket amounts for their remaining two home fixtures against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and KKR would be refunded. However, the franchise has now released an updated statement regarding ticket and refund policies specifically for the match against KKR.
No refunds for RCB vs KKR tickets
Since this fixture was originally scheduled for May 17 in Bengaluru and the revised tournament timeline maintains the same venue, date, and match timing, tickets purchased for this game remain valid. As a result, there will be no ticket refunds for this particular matchup. Fans who had secured tickets earlier can use them to attend the match as planned, without any need for reissuance or adjustments.
In an official statement released on X (formerly Twitter), RCB clarified that since there has been no shift in venue, date, or match timing, all previously purchased tickets will still grant entry to the game. As a result, there will be no refund process for ticket holders. Fans can use their existing tickets to attend the match without needing to make any adjustments.
