Rohit Sharma’s 5-wicket haul in Ranji Trophy match leaves netizens confused

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma, who returned to Mumbai on Thursday after scoring a stunning century in IND vs AFG 3rd T20I, was in news for picking a 5-wicket haul in a Ranji Trophy game between Odisha and Jammu and Kashmir which left the netizens confused.

However, the confusion was soon cleared as it turned out to be J&K pacer Rohit Sharma who picked a 5-fer in the game to help his side bundle out Odisha for 130.

It was Rohit’s maiden five-wicket haul in first-class cricket.

While it turned out to be the other Rohit Sharma, netizens still poked fun with hilarious comments on X.

Talking about the star cricketer Rohit Sharma, the Indian skipper along with other members will assemble in Hyderabad on January 20 to begin preparations for IND vs ENG 1st Test, starting on Janaury 25.
