Rohit Sharma, the captain, has done exceedingly well for the India cricket team in 50-over cricket. The only thing that isn’t working out for him is the toss. The opener just lost his 13th consecutive toss as India’s ODI captain, which is the all-time record in the format. Luckily for him, it’s only the tosses he’s losing and not the matches.

But it’s something that he knows. That’s why after losing the toss in the India vs. New Zealand match in the ICC Champions Trophy, he jokingly tried to shoo his former India teammate Dinesh Karthik away. Insinuating that Karthik, who now works as a broadcaster, was a bad charm for him and he was the reason why Rohit Sharma was losing all the tosses.
