Delhi Capitals are all set to reportedly part ways with Rishabh Pant ahead of the IPL 2025 auction. As per Times of India, DC are expected to retain Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav and Tristian Stubbs ahead of the mega-auction. The deadline for the teams to submit their retention lists is October 31.
DC to release Rishabh Pant ahead of IPL 2025
As per the report, three retentions have been finalised by DC. All-rounder Axar Patel, who is reportedly being considered as frontrunner for skipper, and spinner Kuldeep Yadav will be retained by the side. Meanwhile, the franchise is set to part ways with captain Rishabh Pant after a long association. Tristian Stubbs, the South African finisher who impressed in IPL 2024, is also expected to be retained by the team. Uncapped player Abhishek Porel is also likely to be retained by the team ahead of IPL 2025 auction, given his role as “impact player”.
