The weekly report also highlighted the ongoing efforts to combat the promotion of illicit software. During week 19, PUBG Mobile successfully removed 1,113 online cheat advertisements that had amassed a significant reach of 5,861,341 followers and views. This proactive approach aims to cut off the supply and demand for unfair advantages within the game.

A detailed breakdown of the banned cheats reveals that the majority, 69%, involved players installing cheat software. Other prevalent hacks included Auto Aim (19%), X-RAY VISION (6%), Modification of Area Damage (4%), and Speed Hacks (2%). This data provides valuable insight into the types of exploits being used and allows the anti-cheat team to focus their efforts effectively.

Interestingly, the report also shed light on the ranks of the banned players. A significant 60% of those permanently suspended were Bronze tier users, suggesting that many newer or less experienced players may be tempted to use cheats. However, the ban wave also impacted higher-ranked players, with 14% being Ace, 6% Platinum, 3% Diamond, 7% Silver, 2% Conqueror, and 2% Crown tier players facing permanent suspension. This demonstrates that cheating is not limited to any specific skill level.
