Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan was absolutely furious after his dismissal in the most bizarre fashion in the 2nd PAK vs AUS Test. Rizwan’s dismissal came at the hands of Alex Carey feat Pat Cummins as his side were closing in on a win at the MCG.
PAK vs AUS: Rizwan furious with his dismissal!
Rizwan attempted to duck a short delivery from Australian skipper Pat Cummins. However, the ball brushed past his sweatband that was attached to his gloves to safely find its place in Alex Carey’s hands behind the stumps. Cummins then signaled for DRS after the on-field umpire gave his decision as not out.
Replays of the incident found that the ball had indeed brushed past Rizwan’s wristband, with snicko and hotspot showing the same. The Pakistan batter was left baffled and furious after the third umpire overturned the decision of his on-field counterpart.
