Can the Indian Football Team qualify for the next round with win in India vs Kuwait?
Following two disappointing matches against Afghanistan, the Indian Football Team finds itself in a precarious position. After six rounds, only two teams will advance to the third round, and India’s chances appear slim. They started their campaign strongly by defeating Kuwait 1-0. However, a 3-0 loss to Qatar in Bhubaneshwar weakened their standing, and a subsequent draw and defeat to Afghanistan further complicated their situation.
Currently, India sits second in the group with four points after four games, leading Afghanistan only by goal difference. The Sunil Chhetri-led squad must win both of their remaining matches to progress to the next round, as any further dropped points could jeopardize their qualifying hopes.
