NZ vs SA: Quietly, Kane Williamson slams 30th Test ton, surpasses Virat Kohli

When we talk about the Fab 4 in Test cricket, one name that isn’t discussed much, for consistency is Kane Williamson. The former New Zealand skipper has been beyond exceptional in the truck load of runs he has scored in the format. While the likes of Virat Kohli, Steve Smith, and Babar Azam — all part of the club, have faced Test form slump, but Williamson perhaps hasn’t.

On Sunday, in the first New Zealand vs South Africa Test at the Bay Oval, Williamson not only brought his team out of trouble, but also slammed his 30th ton. Playing in his 97th match, the Kiwi batsman is continuing his purple patch with the bat, having scored a century in the first Test vs Bangladesh as well, in November.
