Neetu Bisht on Her Gaming Journey and Inspirations
Q. I’ve noticed you’ve transitioned from lifestyle content to gaming. What sparked this shift? What drew you to the gaming world?
Gaming was always something that I enjoyed in my spare time. I used to play a lot on my phone, but I never gave it any serious thought of taking it up as my style of content creation and setting it as my career option. I used to play casually just for fun, but as I explored more games, I realized how much I actually loved it. I guess the sense of excitement, tension and the different challenges thrilled me and pushed me to take gaming seriously.
Since I was already creating content in lifestyle and beauty, I thought, why not share this passion too? Plus, gaming is still a male-dominated space, and I wanted to be one of the few women representing this industry in a big way. That also motivated me and I started creating gaming content.
Q. Who are some of the individuals or creators who have inspired you in your gaming journey?
There are so many talented gamers out there, but Jayla is someone who really inspires me. The way she blends entertainment with gaming is something I admire, and she brings so much personality into her content. Watching her made me realize that gaming isn’t just about playing, it is also about making it fun, engaging, and personal. That’s the kind of connection I want to build with my audience as well.

Favorite Games, Encouraging Female Participation, and Future Goals
Q. You explore a diverse range of gaming genres. What are your personal favorite games and genres, and why?
I’m really into horror games right now! I love the thrill, the suspense, and the way they keep me on edge. Scary Teacher 3D and Schoolboy Escape Mission are some of my favorites. There’s something about solving puzzles while being chased that makes it so exciting! But I also enjoy competitive games like Valorant and BGMI, which challenge me to improve my skills and strategy. I like mixing things up, so I’m always open to exploring new genres. Also I guess that has allowed me to interact with wider viewers since I have not restricted my content to only a single style of gaming.
Q. What steps do you believe the gaming industry can take to encourage more female participation?
I think the biggest issue is that women in gaming don’t always get the recognition they deserve. A lot of times, female gamers aren’t taken seriously or are judged differently than male gamers. That needs to change for sure. The industry needs to promote more female gamers, highlight their achievements, and create a more welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable to play and compete. When people see more women at the top, it encourages more girls to join in without hesitation.
Q. What are your goals for your YouTube channel and your future in the gaming industry?
Right now, I’m at the beginning of my gaming journey, but I have big plans! Currently my focus is to build a loyal gaming audience and work on creating more content. I am working hard on becoming an avid gamer and establishing myself as a core member of the Indian gaming community. I want to improve my skills, try different genres, and even explore competitive gaming at some point. I want to bring fresh, entertaining content to my audience. More than anything, I want when people visit my YouTube channel, they enjoy, laugh, and be part of a growing gaming community.
Q. What advice would you give to aspiring gaming content creators who are just starting out?
I would advise, if you have the passion towards gaming then just start! A lot of people overthink and wait for the ‘perfect moment’ to begin, but the truth is, there’s no such thing. Your first few videos don’t need to be perfect, what matters is consistency. In the beginning, it might feel like no one is watching, but growth takes time. Keep playing, keep improving, and most importantly, have fun. If you’re enjoying yourself, your audience will enjoy watching you too. Stay patient, stay passionate, and don’t let the numbers discourage you. Your audience will find you eventually.
