Just two months ago Virat Kohli bowed down to Sachin Tendulkar after breaking his record of most ODI centuries. This time, he has done it again. But Kohli won’t be proud of that. In the IND vs AFG 3rd T20, Virat Kohli was dismissed for a golden duck. And with that, he surpassed Sachin Tendulkar for most ducks in international cricket by an Indian batter.
Virat Kohli has 35 ducks compared to Sachin Tendulkar’s 34. Rohit Sharma is on the list too with 33 ducks after he was dismissed for two consecutive ducks in IND vs AFG 1st & 2nd T20Is.

In the IND vs AFG 3rd T20I, it was Fareed Ahmad who got the big man. With Yashasvi Jaiswal departing in the third over, Virta Kohli came to bat at a crucial juncture. But he played a poor shot to depart for a golden duck.
It was a shortish delivery and as Virat Kohli tried to play an aggressive shot, he mistimed and it took a top edge to Ibrahim Zadran. It was his first golden duck in T20Is.
