Mohit Sharma is an Indian fast bowler who plays for Gujarat Titans (GT) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He appeared in the cash-rich league in 2023 after three years and had an exceptional season for GT as he finished among the leading wicket-takers of the tournament with 25 scalps from 14 matches at an average of 13.25 and an economy of 7.85.

Mohit Sharma made his IPL debut in 2013 after he was bought by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for INR 10 Lakhs. His salary was increased to INR 2 crore in 2014. After three years with CSK, Mohit joined Punjab Kings in 2016 for INR 6.5 crore. However, his salary was reduced to INR 2.4 crore in IPL 2018.
Mohit was again bought back by CSK for INR 5 crore ahead of IPL 2019. While in 2020, he was sold to Delhi Capitals for ₹50 Lakhs. He didn’t get featured in the tournament in 2021 and 2022. In 2023, Mohit was sold to GT for INR 50 Lakhs.
