Mitchell Marsh continued his dream run in the IPL 2025 with another brutal show of hitting in Ahmedabad. The Australian smashed his maiden IPL century in the GT vs LSG clash on Thursday. Marsh took down the Gujarat attack down with surgicial precision, including a 25-run over off Rashid Khan.

Mitchell Marsh is Lucknow Super Giants’ leading run-getter and he continued his red-hot form on Thursday. After a difficult start in Ahmedabad, Marsh transitioned to his fluent best, smashing his first ever century in the IPL. After reaching his fifty in 33 balls, the Australian changed gears with a stunning assault on Rashid Khan.
Bowling his first over of the game, Marsh struck 2 sixes and three boundaries to pick 25 runs off the Afghan all-rounder’s over. He eventually reached his hundred in 56 balls, smashing 10 fours and 6 sixes.

He smashed two more sixes after reaching the century to push LSG towards a giant total. Marsh was eventually dismissed for 117 off 64 balls, the second highest score of IPL 2025. Such was the impact, the Ahmedabad crowd gave him a standing ovation as he walked back.
