MI predicted playing XI vs DC: Will Arjun Tendulkar get spot in must-win clash?

Mumbai Indians will take on Deli Capitals in what is a must-win game for both sides to make it to the IPL 2025 playoffs. The side is expected to go with the same playing XI as in the last game, given that the trio of Rickleton-Bosch-Jacks will only be available for two more games only. Meanwhile, the game will mark the first time Rohit Sharma will play at the Wankhede after unveiling a stand named after him last week at the venue.

MI predicted playing XI vs DC

Position Player Role
1. Ryan Rickleton (WK) Batter
2. Rohit Sharma Batter
3. Suryakumar Yadav Batter
4. Will Jacks All-rounder
5. Tilak Varma Batter
6. Hardik Pandya (C) All-rounder
7. Naman Dhir Batter
8. Arjun Tendulkar Bowler
9. Trent Boult Bowler
10. Deepak Chahar Bowler
11. Jasprit Bumrah Bowler
Impact player: Karn Sharma

MI will rely heavily on their top-order to do the heavylifting. Rohit has shown great consistency, barring the last game against GT where he was dismissed for just 7 runs. Rickleton too flopped against GT after scoring just 2 runs but has been very consistent otherwise. Once again, the team will need the trio of Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma and Hardik Pandya to go all guns blazing in this do or die encounter.

On the bowling front, it remains to be seen if Arjun Tendulkar will get a match finally. If he does, then he is likely to replace Corbin Bosch in the playing XI. Will Jacks will serve as a part-time spinner while MI could use Karn Sharma as an impact player to add firepower to their spin unit. The trio of Chahar-Bumrah-Boult will spearhead the pace department along with Hardik.
