Kiccha Sudeep-led Karnataka Bulldozers have made a stellar start to the game with Karnataka bundling Chennai for 84 runs, However, the most standout moment was Karan Aaryan’s hattrick as he scalped Vikranth, Jiiva and Arya in consecutive balls.
A stunning set of half-centuries from Darling Krishna and Pradeep propelled Karnataka Bulldozers to a mammoth lead of 137 runs. With Chennai chasing such a huge deficit, the Karnataka bowlers took matters on their own hands.
Karan amassed impressive figures of 3/13 as he sent Vikrant, Jiiva and Arya all off in three consecutive ball. Even Karthik Jayram claimed a 3/16 figure although he could notch up a hattrick. The brilliant performance from the bowling contingent of the Karnataka forced Chennai Rhinos to be folded for 81 runs.
