After more than 1,000 days, Test cricket returns to Kanpur as the Green Park Stadium is set to host the second Test between India and Bangladesh. While all the chatter has been about the stadium’s infrastructure and two-pitch formula, a huge uncertainty looms due to the rain threat in the city.
Rain to spoil Day 1 of IND vs BAN 2nd Test?
As per the weather.com, it is almost inevitable for rain to spoil the second Test. Especially after the first session, there is more than a 50 per cent chance of rainfall. Moreover, from 12 pm to 3 pm, there is as high as 80 per cent chance of precipitation.
