The keeper-batter played a handy 24-run knock to help RCB reach 191 at the end of 20 overs in the final of IPL 2025 against PBKS. RCB, who were batting first in the contest, have posted a total of 192 runs for PBKS to chase.

Coming in to bat at number 5, Jitesh scored 24 off 10 deliveries, including 2 fours and sixes each. He struck at a strike rate of 240, propelling RCB towards the 200-run mark. In IPL 2025, Jitesh has 261 runs to his name, averaging 37.28 and boasting of a strike rate of 176.35.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru have posted 190/9 after being sent to bat. Virat Kohli top-scored with 43 while there were contributions from Jitesh Sharma, Mayank Agarwal and Liam Livingstone. Arshdeep Singh bagged three wickets in the final over while Kyle Jamieson scalped three wickets for 48 runs. Earlier, Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and opted to bowl first. Both teams went unchanged with Tim David missing out for RCB with an injury.
