Jasprit Bumrah missing as Team India land in Ranchi for IND vs ENG 4th Test

The Indian cricket team has arrived in Ranchi for the IND vs ENG 4th Test, but without their star pacer Jasprit Bumrah. Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep were the only two Indian pacers who were spotted at Ranchi airport on Tuesday.

Notably, it has been reported that Bumrah will be rested for the fourth Test in Ranchi. With the final Test set to be played in Dharmshala, a venue known for assisting pacers, the Indian management reportedly have decided to allow Bumrah to skip the fourth Test.

Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep were the only two Indian seamers who were spotted at Ranchi airport moments back. Both India and England reached via private charter.

The star Indian pacer, who has been instrumental for the hosts in the all three Test matches, has reportedly reached Ahmedabad.

Bumrah is currently the leading wicket-taker of the series, picking 17 wickets in three Test matches at an average of 13.64.

In Bumrah’s absence, Team India could likely pick Mukesh Kumar in the XI. Notably, the Bengal pacer had a brilliant Ranji Trophy game against Bihar where he registered his career-best innings figures and match figures.
