The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the IPL 2025 revised schedule for 17 remaining matches. after it had to be postponed due to escalating tensions between India and Pakistan. IPL was suspended on May 8 with the PBKS vs DC match in the 10.1 overs. However, with the tensions easing following a ceasefire deal between the two countries, IPL will resume on May 17. However, instead of home and away matches, it will be played across six venues. Delhi and Jaipur will host three matches each, while Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Lucknow will host two each. Mumbai will only host a match in the league stage.
The IPL 2025 final will be played on June 3 instead of the originally scheduled date of May 25. However, BCCI hasn’t announced the venues for the playoffs yet. Bengaluru will host the first match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Kolkata Knight Riders on May 17 as per the revised schedule.
