IPL 2024 Auction: Kolkata Knight Riders look to rebuild entire bowling unit

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will aim to restructure their bowling attack under the leadership of KKR captain Gautam Gambhir. KKR have the biggest purse going into the IPL 2024 Auction. They have also announced Shreyas Iyer as their new captain for the upcoming season.

After releasing most of their key players like Shakib Al Hasan, Shardul Thakur, and others, KKR would have to rebuild their team in the mini-auction.

KKR IPL 2024 Auction strategy

KKR has released their main bowlers Shardul Thakur, Shakib Al Hasan, Lockie Ferguson, Umesh Yadav, and Tim Southee. Now, they would look to add skillful spinners and pacers to have a brand new bowling lineup.

Kolkata have the advantage of the largest purse in the auction but they also have to buy players in all the department so they would need to spend carefully.
