Dean Elgar continues to frustrate India in the ongoing IND vs SA 1st Test. Playing his last Test series for his nation, Elgar is posing a thorn for the visitors. After slamming a ton in the previous day, early on Day 3, Elgar continued his momentum to go on hit a brilliant 150 as South Africa aims to put up a big lead.
Starting Day 3 on a good note, Elgar looked in deft touch. He slammed a fine cover drive to reach his 150 with a glorious boundary. He has slammed 24 fours and have taken 229 deliveries to reach 150.
2 years back, Dean Elgar single handedly won South Africa the Test series. This year, playing his last Test series before retiring, Elgar continues to frustrate India.
Punish the poor balls and switching gears as and when required, Dean Elgar has truly displayed a masterpiece in batting. Braving the odds against the likes of Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj, he took his chances against the inexperienced Shardul Thakur and Prasidh Krishna.
