Team India skipper Rohit Sharma confirmed that all-rounder Shardul Thakur was fit to play the 2nd IND vs SA Test at Cape Town. The all-rounder suffered an injury scare after he received a blow to his left shoulder while facing throwdowns from a support staff member.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Sharma confirmed that all players, including Thakur, were fit and will be available for the 2nd Test at Cape Town.
