India can probably breathe a sigh of relief as star batter KL Rahul is expected to return for the IND vs ENG series at a later stage. Rahul was ruled out of the 2nd Test after complaining of pain in his right quadriceps.
IND vs ENG: KL Rahul to return?
As per Times of India, a BCCI source informed that Rahul could perhaps return later on in the series. KL’s absence in the 2nd Test may impact India, who are reeling under the loss at Hyderabad.
“Rahul could perhaps return later on in the series but Jadeja’s injury could be more serious. Let’s wait for what the NCA medical team tells us,” a BCCI source said to TOI.
