IND vs ENG 2nd Test: After unwanted visa controversy, England spinner to make debut in Vizag

England has named their playing XI for the upcoming second Test against India in Vizag, and the visitors have gone with two changes from the first match, that played in Hyderabad. In place of Mark Wood, veteran James Anderson comes back, while injured Jack Leach is replaced by young Shoaib Bashir.

The latter, who faced visa troubles prior to the first Test, would be marking his debut on Friday against India. The 20-year-old doesn’t have much experience in first-class cricket and has bagged only 10 wickets in six games till now. Yet, he is looked as someone who could be successful in India.

Meanwhile, he was almost certain to play the first Test as well, but some issue with the visa paper work meant, he had to fly back home. It is believed, that the visa process took longer than usual for him, due to his Pakistani roots. Eventually, after getting all the clearances, he finally arrived in India on the fourth day of the first Test, and joined the team in Hyderabad.
