The auction for the fourth edition of International League T20 (ILT20) is currently underway at the Four Seasons Hotel, Jumeirah Beach, Dubai. Until the previous edition, the franchises used to directly sign players. However, this time, the league has decided to follow the footsteps of the IPL and hold an auction to determine which team gets which player.
291 players will go under the hammer on Wednesday, with a minimum of 66 and a maximum of 73 players will find deals in the ILT20 auction. Ravichandran Ashwin stands a chance to become the highest paid player in ILT20 history after registering himself for the auction at a base price of $120,000.
