From Bhanu Pania to Abhimanyu Singh Rajput, all came together to dethrone Sikkim in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, as it was all Baroda over Sikkim in the ongoing SMAT clash. The Krunal Pandya-led side smashed 349 in 20 overs, losing only a few wickets. With this, the team registered highest score in T20 cricket all over and also became the first team in SMAT to score 300+ runs, showcasing their dominance with the bat.
Incredibly, Baroda did not remain the only team to breach the 300-run mark in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, as Abhishek Sharma’s masterclass took Punjab to 310/5 on November 30. Against a star-studded Bengal bowling, Punjab put up a gigantic total. It is now the fourth-highest T20 total ever.
