IPL fever is upon us! With less than a month left before the start of the 2024 season, Star Sports has decided to release a new promo for the blockbuster league. Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya, and Shreyas Iyer, captains of four of the ten franchises, will feature in what seems to be a fun and light-hearted advertisement.
Hardik Pandya, who was announced as the Mumbai Indians new skipper in December last year, can be seen as a ‘Serious CEO’ in the promo. Making his return to cricket, Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant will be the ‘Gabru Munda’. Currently, out with injury, Lucknow Super Giants skipper KL Rahul has been showcased as ‘Scholar Padhaku’. Meanwhile, the Kolkata Knight Riders skipper will be the ‘Good Boy Bengali’.
