Indian powerhouse Godlike Esports concluded their impressive run at the COD Mobile China Masters 2025: Season 9 with a commendable third-place finish. Godlike Esports Journey at COD Mobile China Masters 2025

Godlike Esports began their playoff journey in the upper bracket semifinals after a strong showing in the earlier stages. They faced Stand Point Gaming and secured a decisive 4-1 victory, propelling them to the upper bracket finals. This victory marked a significant achievement for the Indian representatives, demonstrating their capability against international competition.

However, the upper bracket finals proved to be a tough challenge as they encountered Wolves. The Chinese team displayed dominant form, defeating Godlike Esports with a clean 4-0 sweep. This loss moved Godlike to the lower bracket finals, where they faced another formidable Chinese team, Qing Jiu Club.

Despite their best efforts, Godlike Esports fell short against Qing Jiu Club, losing the match 1-4. This defeat brought an end to their campaign in the China Masters Season 9. Nevertheless, their third-place finish is a noteworthy accomplishment, especially considering the high level of competition in the league.

The team will take home a prize of $30,942.28 (¥225,000) for their efforts. Notably, Learn, a key player for Godlike Esports, could not participate in the event due to visa issues, adding another layer of challenge to the team’s journey.

Another Indian team, S8UL, also participated in the China Masters 2025, finishing in 10th position. Their participation highlights the growing presence and talent pool of Indian teams in the global Call of Duty Mobile esports scene.

The grand finals of the China Masters 2025: Season 9 are set to take place on May 24, 2025, between Wolves and Qing Jiu Club.
