Fans fume over Murali Karthik calling Yash Dayal ‘trash’ on air during RCB vs PBKS match

Yash Dayal has been on the receiving end of vicious trolling online. The fast bowler, who is best remembered for that last over against Rinku Singh, had faced mental torment from the horror night. The pacer, who now plays for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), had fallen ill after getting hit for 30 runs by Rinku Singh and even lost 7-8 kilos in body weight.

Back for a different side, Yash Dayal bowled a magnificent opening spell in the RCB vs PBKS match, giving away just 10 runs in 3 overs. The comeback was glorious to watch. But an off-color comment by Indian commentator Murali Karthik left many fuming. The former Indian spinner said, “Someone’s trash is someone else’s treasure,” about the pacer live on air. This backhanded comment angered cricket fans, who bashed Karthik for his ‘slip-up’.

Murali Karthik’s off-color comment on Yash Dayal raises ire

How do you say someone’s trash is someone’s treasure? You just called Yash Dayal Trash on air! Like what even?

@StarSportsIndia, Murali Kartik is a part of the Star Sports commentary panel and he used the word “trash” for Yash Dayal, an Indian cricketer. Kindly take action against him and either remove him from the commentary panel or ask him to apologize.
