The stage is set for the Formula 1 caravan to resume it’s journey yet again. The F1 2024 season is slated to begin with the Bahrain GP 2024. The new season starts with a slight change in the day of the race weekend. After a gruelling 3 day pre season practice in Bahrain last week, the 20 drivers will take the Bahrain Grand Prix in their hopes of becoming the F1 2024 Champion.
This time the race weekend will begin on Thursday. On the other hand the race will take place on Saturday. This is mainly done keeping in mind of the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix. Jeddah wished to host the race on Saturday to keep Sunday free during the month of Ramadan.
Bahrain Grand Prix 2024 Timings
There has been no change in the timings of the race weekend. Only the days have been changed. Free Practice 1 and 2 will be held on Thursday. Free Practice 3 and the Qualifying session will be held on Friday. On the other hand, the race will take place on Sunday.
Free Practice 1 – 5 PM to 6 PM IST
Free Practice 2 – 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST
Free Practice 3 – 6 PM to 7 PM IST
Qualifying – 9:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST
Race – 8:30 PM IST
