Delhi Capitals will be desperate to return to winning ways as they take on PBKS in a must-win encounter in Dharamsala. DC are currently fifth on the points table with 13 points to their name. Axar Patel and co. need to win all their remaining three games in order to make it to IPL 2025 playoffs.

After delivering a standout performance in his debut game for DC, Karun has just not managed to fire. He registered his second duck of the season in the previous game against SRH. Thanks to rain, DC were saved because their hapless collapse would have been something that SRH would have feasted on.
With DC at a position where they can’t lose any games, Axar Patel might want to make amends to the playing XI. Nair could be benched while Rizvi is expected to be brought in to strengthen the middle-order. Axar himself can bat at number 3, taking advantage of the powerplay should the openers perish early.
The other night, we saw Arshdeep produce some brilliant swing with the ball at Dharamsala. Starc will hope he can replicate the same in the game against PBKS. DC are not expected to make any changes to their bowling line-up. Kuldeep and Axar will serve as two spinners while Starc will be supported by Chameera and Natarajan.
To strengthen their batting further, DC are likely to use Ashutosh Sharma as an impact player.
