Cash Galore: ILT20 to pay double prize money as compared to SA20 for second edition

ILT20 will pay double prize money to the winning team as compared to the ongoing SA20. The winner of ILT20 will receive USD 7 million as compared to SA20 where the champions will be paid around USD 3.5 million. On the other hand, the runners-up of the ILT20 will be given USD 3 Million.

The ILT20 tournament opener will be played on Friday, (January 19). The defending champions Gulf Giants will take on Sharjah Warriors at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Speaking more about the tournament, all the teams will face each other twice in a double round robin format, playing one match at home and one match away.

The top 4 teams after the league stages will qualify for the Playoffs. The top 2 placed teams will lock horns in the first Qualifier to be played on the 13th of February. The 3rd and 4th placed teams will face off in the Eliminator match to be played on the 14th of February.

The winner of the Eliminator and loser of the first Qualifier will then face each other in the second Qualifier with an eye on the Finals spot, to be played on the 15th of February at Sharjah.
