Australia skipper Pat Cummins made a strategic decision to declare their first innings despite trailing by 22 runs in the AUS vs WI 2nd Test. The move could potentially work in the favour of the hosts as the Windies would have to bat under the floodlights at the Gabba as this is a day-night pink ball game.

Skipper Pat Cummins was the source of contribution from the final quarter as he stayed unbeaten on 64 runs as the hosts made the move to declare.
