India’s Qualification Scenarios
If India wins against Australia and New Zealand go on to win both their remaining matches. Then both India and New Zealand will be on similar points and thus the team with the better NRR will go through.
If India wins against Australia, and New Zealand falters in one match, I..e they win one game and lose the other – India will head to the semis with greater points on the board.
If India loses to Australia, and New Zealand wins both their remaining matches then it will be game over for India. In such a scenario, with 6 points the White Ferns will reach the top 4.
If India loses to Australia and then New Zealand wins one game and loses the other, both teams will be left stranded on equal points. Then the team with better NRR will qualify for the semi-finals.
