Former Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant bid farewell to the franchise after being bought by Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in IPL 2025 auction. The southpaw, who was released by the team after IPL 2024, admitted that goodbyes were never easy and penned an emotional parting note to DC. Pant created history on Day 1 of IPL auction in Jeddah when he became the highest-paid player after being purchased by LSG for a whooping Rs 27 cr.
